Become a Partner

The institutions most capable of change are those willing to learn from the people navigating their systems every day.

NIA works alongside institutions that are ready to strengthen their engagement with diverse communities and expand access to leadership, entrepreneurship, and workforce opportunity. Our partnerships are mutual — both parties contribute, learn, and grow.

■ OUR APPROACH ■

Partnerships grounded in methodology.

Every NIA partnership is guided by our systems design frameworks. We do not engage as external advisors who observe and report. We engage as design partners who map, co-design, and redesign alongside institutions — with the communities most affected at the centre of that work.

FRAMEWORK 01

Institutional Intelligence Framework

Ensuring lived experience is integrated as design intelligence throughout the partnership.

FRAMEWORK 02

Inclusion-to-Influence Framework

Anchoring partnership goals in the four-stage progression from access to influence.

FRAMEWORK 03

NIA Studio Methodology

Applying a structured, evidence-generating design process to every institutional engagement.

These frameworks help institutions move from engagement to redesign — and from redesign to lasting change.

We do not position institutions as benefactors or communities as recipients. We build relationships where both parties contribute, learn, and grow — and where lived experience is treated as institutional intelligence.

WHAT PARTNERSHIP LOOKS LIKE

01

Systems design

We work alongside your institution to map, analyse, and redesign specific systems — workforce, care, access, leadership.

02

Research & frameworks

We co-produce research that serves both institutional learning and public knowledge.

03

Co-design facilitation

We create structured spaces for community members, frontline workers, and institutional actors to design together.

04

Pilot design & implementation

We build and run pilots in real institutional environments — and evaluate them rigorously.

05

Institutional Learning & Capacity Development

We build internal institutional capacity for care-centered, community-informed practice.

Ready to build something together?

If your institution is working toward more equitable, inclusive systems, we would like to start a conversation about what collaboration could look like.
